Lexus fragrances use bamboo—an iconic Lexus signature—as a gesture of hospitality, pairing scent with synchronized visuals, music, and lighting for a shared sensory experience. Each fragrance features a bamboo accord inspired by the Sagano bamboo forest in Kyoto and is housed in cartridges made from “forged bamboo,” blending crushed bamboo fibers with resin. The diffuser holds up to three cartridges, letting passengers select scents to match their mood.

EXCLUSIVELY TUNED SUSPENSION
Engineers developed a bespoke suspension layout and tuning specifically for the TZ to realize the Driving Lounge vision. By utilizing a MacPherson strut design in the front and a multi-link layout in the rear, the system is perfectly calibrated to the model-specific tires. This exclusive setup ensures a smooth, comfortable ride that minimizes fatigue for both the driver and passengers, even during long journeys.
DYNAMIC REAR STEERING (DRS)
Rear wheels can be turned up to four degrees – in the opposite direction as the front wheels at low speeds, and in the same direction at higher speeds – to benefit agility, maneuverability, and stability.
Lexus Safety System+
Lexus is developing safety technologies in line with its ultimate wish for a mobile society: Zero fatalities and injuries from traffic accidents. The ES TZ uses the latest Lexus Safety System+ based on the belief that it is important to develop world-class advanced safety technologies faster and adopt them into more vehicles.
The system has been enhanced to recognize objects over a wider field of view and at greater distances,
expanding the scenarios in which it can help prevent accidents. Additionally, functional and sensor coverage has been broadened to provide consistent driver assistance even in complex environments such as urban roads.
These improvements contribute to enhanced safety, convenience, and reduced driver workload. In line with these technological upgrades, vehicle-surrounding information is now presented more clearly via the meter display, further supporting safe and confident driving.
