Lexus BEV Showcase

A Tale of Three BEVs

The Lexus BEV mission that started in 2022 with the RZ reached a milestone with the arrival of the all-new Lexus TZ. With the introduction of the all-new three-row Lexus TZ means Lexus can offer its customers a full range of BEVs with three models designed and shaped for distinct customer needs and lifestyles. These pure electric models are also somewhat foundational to the Lexus future BEV promise with technologies and developments that are going to evolve the capabilities of future Lexus vehicles.

With the debut of the all-new TZ three-row SUV this past spring, the capabilities and appeal of the Lexus BEV range that include the ES and RZ help come into focus. The Lexus TZ and RZ are ONLY available as pure battery electric models while the ES supports the multi-pathway mission with both Battery Electric and Hybrid Electric variants

The All-new Lexus TZ - The FOCUS is felt Inside.

Like all Lexus models, the TZ is imagined and developed through a thoughtful emphasis on its guest, the enjoyment of the product, and its utility; however, guided by the "DISCOVER LIMITLESS" vision, its battery BEV nature is leveraged to break people away from everyday routines and elevate the Lexus human-focused ethos to a new level. Designed around the concept of a "Driving Lounge," it balances dynamic driving performance with lounge-like comfort across three rows, unlocking limitless possibilities for customers across all life stages as they share meaningful experiences with loved ones.

Inside, every element is designed around the idea of a true "Driving Lounge," allowing guests to relax and unwind regardless of where their journey leads. The long-wheelbase, low-floor design creates an effortlessly open atmosphere across all three rows, complemented by a massive panoramic sunroof that fills the space with natural light. Whether relaxing in the second-row captain’s chairs or enjoying the sleek, uncluttered view from the front row, passengers are enveloped in an inviting sanctuary that turns travel time into quality time together.

To ensure everyone on board can connect naturally, engineers prioritized unmatched cabin tranquility. Advanced noise-isolation techniques eliminate outside distractions, making conversation across all three rows effortless and clear—creating the quietest SUV environment Lexus has ever delivered. This relaxing atmosphere is further enhanced by thoughtful details like ambient lighting, forged bamboo accents, and available power ottomans with seat ventilation. To guarantee a consistently smooth experience for all occupants, the dedicated Rear Comfort mode minimizes body movement and pitch, preserving guest comfort even during dynamic maneuvers.

Behind the wheel, the TZ seamlessly pairs this lounge-like serenity with an engaging, confident driving experience. The available DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system intuitively distributes power for responsive handling and peace of mind in any driving condition, while generous, adaptable cargo space and quiet-closing doors ensure every trip begins and ends effortlessly. Every detail works in harmony to ensure that both driver and passengers enjoy every mile as much as the destination.

The Lexus RZ – the brand’s FIRST dedicated BEV Model

First launched in 2022, the Lexus RZ is the brand’s first global-relevant dedicated battery electric model, and it is also available in front wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants. This two-row SUV model set the tone for the Lexus BEV driving signature with its focus on ride and handling tuning. The model was re-vamped for 2026 with a revised electrical and battery design, improvements in the e-axle efficiency, that helped increase motor output, range, reduce charging timing while improving overall drivability. The RZ lineup has also evolved the utmost performance BEV expression for Lexus in the form of the RZ 550E Sport AWD (Direct4) featuring higher output front and rear motors for a total of 402 total system horsepower. Such power helps the RZ 550e reach 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds.

The Lexus ES - A core model re-imagined for the future

For 2025, the all-new 8th generation ES is the first core global Lexus model to be re-imaged as multi-pathway product offered only as a BEV and HEV propulsion. The ES is one of the two models that launched the Lexus brand, and for the first time it has been developed without a pure internal combustion engine (ICE) variant. The new ES seeks to build on some of the renowned Lexus ES DNA while elevating elements of technology and convenience. The BEV version of the new ES comes to market as the front-wheel-drive ES 350e and the All-wheel-drive ES 500e models with the ES 350e offering superior efficiency and range while the ES 500e high power variant offers improved acceleration and performance. The ES model’s DNA is evident in the latest iteration’s opulent 2nd row which allows generous rear leg room and ample comfort. Evolving on that, an executive package is available that adds power adjustable heated, ventilated, and massaging rear seats to help create the most refined rear passenger experience ever offered on the ES.
