Following successful launches in Tokyo and Dubai, INTERSECT BY LEXUS has unveiled its third international location – New York City
A vibrant cultural space where ideas and people converge, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, one of New York’s most iconic and stylish neighborhoods. INTERSECT BY LEXUS creates an environment where guests can experience masterful design, exceptional cuisine, and unparalleled hospitality. The stimulating artistic and cultural programs promote conversation and inspire visitors to reflect on the endless possibilities that come with new experiences.
A DESTINATION OF POSSIBILITY
Sharing design pedigree with Tokyo and Dubai, the first two floors of INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC are the creation of world-renowned interior designer Masamichi Katayama. It features a stunning bamboo façade inspired by the geometry of the Lexus spindle grille, an impressive two-story installation assembled from Lexus vehicle parts, and a wall display made from hundreds of miniature car models.
Mr. Katayama envisioned INTERSECT BY LEXUS as a place of possibility – a destination that can be enjoyed in diverse and distinctive ways, by people from all walks of life. Through the imaginative blending of its versatile spaces with experiential programming, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – NYC delivers outstanding moments of design and culture which offer unique glimpses into the remarkable city beyond.
Cuisine is central to the INTERSECT BY LEXUS experience. At street level, the cafe offers casual dining and premium coffee. Upstairs, patrons can sip on seasonally inspired creations at the cocktail bar. In the restaurant, some of the world’s best chefs will take up residency, periodically transforming the menu to deliver innovative new concepts in creative cuisine.
The inaugural chef-in-residence is one of France’s finest, Gregory Marchand, whose French restaurants have ensured his place in the modern pantheon of great restaurateurs. Guests who visit during his tenure will be rewarded with a sophisticated menu that infuses international flavors into the French culinary tradition. As the chef himself puts it, "People’s mentalities are evolving, people’s tastes are evolving – so you need to evolve too."
