Dining Out is an exclusive travel and culinary event celebrating modern cuisine, fine dining, and exploration of heritage and culturally-rich communities of Japan. More than a venue for enjoying a new fresh take on a local cuisine, Dining Out aims to reestablish the charm and charisma of some of the country’s less traveled prefectures.
Lexus has traveled across Japan in search of what makes a luxurious culinary experience not just authentic and locally sourced, but truly multisensory. From the aroma of locally curated ingredients, to the sights and sounds of their world-class open air dining venue. And finally taste: remarkable dishes imbued with emotion and craft unlikely to be replicated anywhere else. Held two or three times annually, guests can purchase tickets to these unique and historic locales. In each venue, they not only learn about region’s culture and heritage but also about the culinary masters invited by Lexus. These master chefs collaborate with local farmers and producers to create a bespoke recipe, inspired by the rich history and fresh flavors of that region.
Working with regional ingredients and learning from the locals who cook with them each day, the master chefs reimagine how to elevate each flavor in the form of a fine-dining dish. By connecting people and cultures through these amazing culinary events, we are reminded of the potential for new experiences where one might least expect them.
