MENTORS AND JUDGES

To help finalists develop prototypes of their design, Lexus held a two-day workshop in January at the brand new INTERSECT BY LEXUS space in New York City. Here, finalists received personal mentorship, inspiration and expert advice from the globally-acclaimed creators. The prototypes will go on display in April at the Lexus Design Event hosted at Milan Design Week in front of a global audience. They will be judged by four world-renowned design leaders who together will select the Lexus Design Award 2019 Grand Prix winner.

2019 JUDGES

Each year, Lexus works with a world-class panel of judges to select finalists who best embody Lexus' guiding principles. The six selected finalists will go on to receive individual mentorship from established global designers, prototype funding to bring their visions to life, and an invitation to exhibit at the Lexus Design Event during Milan Design Week, where one Grand Prix award winner will be announced by the judges.
